Every CFA candidate has a story. Ours just happened to cross at the perfect time- right after the Level III results came out.

Zach and Rohan had very different journeys through the CFA program. Zach came from commercial banking, a world far from the intricacies of portfolio theory and fixed income. Yet, through focus and discipline, he cleared all three levels on his first attempt- a streak that still inspires anyone who’s been through the grind.

Rohan’s path was the opposite in pace but equal in persistence. Working in asset management, he already lived and breathed financial markets, but the exams demanded more than knowledge. After narrowly missing the mark on his first try at every level, he learned to adapt. He slowed down, studied smarter, and found what worked for him. On his second attempt at each level, he passed—and the lessons he learned along the way shaped not just how he studied, but how he approaches challenges in life and work.

The two met at the office the day after results were out. Zach had passed; Rohan had missed by a whisper. But as they talked about the journey, they realized how similar their struggles were. The exhaustion, the time sacrifices, the silent hours after work, the uncertainty- every candidate faces it. The difference wasn’t in outcomes, it was in understanding what the journey meant.

And that’s how Zorroh was born.
